Quick naming note: As of July 1, 2025, the FBC Mortgage company was rebranded to Acrisure, and the stadium was renamed Acrisure Bounce House. You'll see both names used in the wild — tickets, signs, and GPS will increasingly show Acrisure Bounce House, but "FBC Mortgage Stadium" still dominates search and conversation. This guide uses the legacy name throughout for clarity.

FBC Mortgage Stadium sits on the east side of UCF's sprawling suburban campus, surrounded by parking lots and palm trees, which tells you something about how Orlando works. This is not a downtown stadium with a sports bar on every corner — it's a commuter school in a commuter city, and away fans who show up expecting an easy pub crawl will be surprised. That said, come with a plan and you'll find a stadium that genuinely rocks when it's full, a crowd that's more enthusiastic than hostile, and Central Florida weather that will remind you — sometimes violently — that September football in Florida is not for the unprepared.

The Trip Here, in Numbers

A 3-star or better hotel within 15 miles of the stadium runs from $98 a night, based on 73 hotels.

The airport for this trip is Orlando Sanford International (SFB), 12 miles from the stadium.

Hotel rates checked Oct 2.

The hotel figure is the 25th-percentile nightly rate of the hotels sampled. The airport distance is straight-line.

How to Get to FBC Mortgage Stadium (Driving, Rideshare, and Campus Shuttles)

Let's not sugarcoat this: there is no practical public transit option here. SunRail doesn't reach the UCF area with any usefulness for game day, so you're either driving or ridesharing. That's the honest reality of a campus built in the suburbs northeast of Orlando.

The stadium is located approximately 13 miles northeast of Downtown Orlando. From Orlando International Airport (MCO), figure 20–25 miles and roughly 30–40 minutes in normal traffic — longer if you're hitting a Saturday afternoon kickoff and the interchange at SR-408 and I-4 decides to do what it does. Take SR-408 East to Alafaya Trail (FL-434) north, then follow signs into campus via Gemini Boulevard.

Rideshare is actually the smarter call — drop zones are marked near the main pedestrian plazas, and you avoid the parking lottery entirely. Request your Uber or Lyft well in advance of game time. Drop-off on McCulloch Road or the Alafaya Trail corridor gets you a short walk to the stadium gates.

FBC Mortgage Stadium Parking: Lots, Prices, and Best Options

Parking at UCF is a choose-your-own-adventure situation with real trade-offs between cost and convenience.

Preferred parking lots and garages — the Gold Zone — are located in the northeast sector of campus and are closest to the stadium. Gold Zone lots require a valid football game-day parking permit. If you don't have a permit, your best nearby option is Garage H. Fans without permits who wish to park closer to the stadium can park in Garage H for a minimum donation of $30. That's the "closest without a permit" play.

General Public Parking Blue Zone lots are located in the northwest sector of campus. Parking is free and provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Preferred routing to Blue Zone parking is via Alafaya Trail/University Boulevard or Centaurus Drive. The catch: free lots fill up fast, and you're looking at a 15–20 minute walk to the gates. For off-campus paid options, nearby apartment complexes like University Carillon offer game-day parking — individual game-day parking runs $40 at the gate on a first-come, first-served basis, and spots fill up 2 to 3 hours before kickoff, so come early. Arrive at least 2.5 hours before kickoff if you want your pick.

Where to Stay Near FBC Mortgage Stadium

Don't book a hotel on campus unless you have a specific reason to. Stay in downtown Orlando or along the International Drive corridor, not near campus. UCF's immediate neighborhood is almost entirely residential apartments and strip malls. Downtown Orlando, particularly around the Thornton Park or College Park neighborhoods, gives you walkable restaurant and bar access, Uber convenience, and something to do Friday night.

Hotel prices downtown are usually reasonable on football weekends, and you're looking at a 25-minute rideshare to the stadium. International Drive is cheaper and works perfectly fine if you're traveling with kids or keeping it simple. For those who truly want to be close to campus, the closest options are Hilton Garden Inn and DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando East. Both are functional and fine, but don't expect a neighborhood to explore afterward.

Best Bars and Restaurants Near FBC Mortgage Stadium

Wackadoo's Grub & Brew — This is the de facto pregame spot if you want to be close to the stadium. Wackadoo's Grub & Brew is the closest thing to an actual tailgate bar near campus and functions as the pregame spot for both fan bases. Loud, cheap, and exactly what it is. Don't go looking for craft cocktails; go looking for a cold beer and somewhere to watch the early games.

Lazy Moon — Lazy Moon on University Boulevard is a UCF institution, and the pizza is legitimately excellent, not just "good for a college bar." It's a short rideshare from campus and a much better pre-game meal option than anything inside the stadium. The slices are massive. Order one and split it.

Bar Louie (Alafaya Trail) — Located across the street from the main campus at 4100 N. Alafaya Trail, Bar Louie serves its full menu until 2 a.m. It's reliable, has plenty of TVs, and handles large groups without too much chaos. Good for groups arriving at different times before the game.

Gator's Dockside — Despite the name, don't worry: Knights fans don't have to worry about not feeling welcome at Gator's Dockside. For fans of more than burgers and wings, a seafood menu is available as well as a gluten-free menu, and special deals on drinks and beer are available on Saturdays for college football games.

FBC Mortgage Stadium Bag Policy, Gates, and Game Day Tips

UCF follows the standard clear bag policy — one clear bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12", plus a small clutch. No opaque backpacks, no standard purses. A bag check service is no longer provided at UCF Football games, so review the clear bag policy in advance. Metal detection is also in effect.

Gates typically open 90 minutes before kickoff. Away fans are usually funneled toward the south end of the stadium; check your ticket for the specific gate, as UCF staff will redirect you if you show up at the wrong entrance. Know Your Gate before you arrive — with the Stadium Club taking up the concourse from sections 108–113, fans are not allowed to walk around the full circle of the stadium. It is important to know your gate before entering.

The stadium is cashless , so leave the physical bills in the car. Load up your digital wallet before kickoff. One more thing worth knowing: wear sunscreen in early-season games — afternoon kickoffs in September in Central Florida are legitimately brutal, and the press box side provides the most shade.

FBC Mortgage Stadium Accessibility: ADA Seating, Elevators, and Accessible Entry

The stadium provides ample ADA seating for more than 450 wheelchairs. Accessible parking is available with the appropriate permit. Parking for guests with disabilities is available on the first level of Garage C with a valid accessible permit on a first-come, first-served basis. The individual who was issued the permit must be with the vehicle. Garage C is located at the intersection of North Orion Boulevard and Scorpius Street.

A free shuttle for patrons with disabilities and fans who accompany them will be provided from the bus stop adjacent to Garage C to the stadium at Gate 14. Those shuttles will run from four hours prior to kickoff until two hours after kickoff. Throughout the game and postgame, shuttles will be available, picking up from Gate 14, to return patrons with disabilities to Garage C. The Roth Tower features private elevator access to club and suite levels. Contact UCF Athletics directly at 407-823-1000 for assistive listening device availability and any additional sensory accommodation needs.

FBC Mortgage Stadium Seating Guide: Best Seats for Away Fans

Away fans don't get a designated visitor section in the traditional sense — you're scattered based on where your tickets land, which is usually somewhere in the upper or lower sidelines. That's actually fine. Sections 109–111 and 128–130 are the best places to sit close to the action and as close to the 50-yard line as possible. Sections 109–111 are situated directly behind the UCF bench while 128–130 are behind the visiting team's bench. If you can land in the 100-level sideline sections, do it — sightlines are genuinely good.

Avoid the upper corners (sections in the 200s near the end zones) if you want to follow the game comfortably. The lower bowl holds noise and energy well, and the east sideline sections (100-level) are your sweet spot for both views and atmosphere. The student sections in the end zones will be loudest — plan accordingly if you're sitting nearby.

Food and Drink at FBC Mortgage Stadium

The star of the concessions is Four Rivers BBQ, a Central Florida local favorite. Best options include the pulled pork sandwich ($14), BBQ nachos ($13), brisket sandwich ($15), and the Messy Dog — a footlong topped with pulled pork, southern slaw, and signature sauce ($13). Other popular items include the Knights Lobster Roll ($18) and Knight Burger ($12); beer runs $10–$11. The stadium is cashless , so have your card or digital wallet ready at every stand.

FBC Mortgage Stadium for Away Fans

UCF fans are among the friendliest in college football toward visiting patrons. This is not a house of horrors for away fans — you won't get anything thrown at you, and most UCF supporters are genuinely happy to have a big game on the schedule. The stadium, despite its size, can feel oddly quiet in the upper sections during slower moments, particularly when UCF isn't moving the ball. The lower bowl holds noise well when it's full and loud, but the crowd can evaporate early if things go sideways — which is a nice bonus if your team is winning late. The one thing that catches visiting fans off guard is the "Bounce House" effect: the facility is nicknamed the "Bounce House" because it is susceptible to considerable shaking when its crowd jumps in unison. When UCF scores late in a close game and 45,000 people start jumping to "Kernkraft 400," you genuinely feel it in your feet. It's an impressive effect the first time. Plan accordingly.

Getting Out of FBC Mortgage Stadium After the Game

Rideshare: This is your best exit option, but only if you're strategic about it. Don't request your Lyft or Uber from directly outside the gates — surge pricing will be punishing and pickup will be slow. Walk 10–15 minutes north toward Alafaya Trail or south toward McCulloch Road, away from the immediate stadium crush, before requesting. Wait at least 20 minutes after the final whistle before requesting — by then, the first surge wave has passed and you'll get a better rate and a faster pickup.

Driving: Preferred routing out of Gold Zone parking (going south) is via Libra Drive/Gemini Boulevard East, and (from the north or west) via McCulloch Road/North Orion Boulevard. The lots directly adjacent to the stadium take 45–60 minutes to clear after a packed game. If you parked in the Blue Zone on the west side of campus, you'll exit via Alafaya Trail — plan for a 20–30 minute crawl to reach a moving road. Leave at the two-minute warning if your team has the game locked up.

Transit/Shuttle: UCF campus shuttles run post-game for students, but visiting fans don't have access. Your best bet if you don't have a car is rideshare (see above) or a pre-arranged pickup.

One opinionated tip: If you drove, skip the immediate postgame exit entirely. Walk back to the tailgate area or grab a post-game bite at one of the campus dining options that stay open. Give it 45 minutes, then walk to your car. You'll save yourself an hour of brake lights and exit frustration.
